The Brave Warrior

Legend has it when the brave warrior Cortez sailed over to enemy territory
with his men, to conquer the new land, they soon discovered upon arrival that
they were out numbered.

The enemy was also bigger and stronger. Cortez knew he needed a method to
motivate his men. So he summoned his right hand man and told him to burn the
boats they had sailed over on. When the boats were nothing but ashes he called
a meeting with all his men. "As you can see we have no avenue of retreat. We
have no possible alternative. We cannot flee. So we must fight or perish.

Cortez and his men went into battle and they won.

Sometimes we have to burn our bridges and leave no avenue of retreat in order
to be great. This helps to establish a burning desire.

Comic Books - collectibles

I was recently going through some things in the attic when I stumbled upon some boxes. Enclosed in the boxes were my old comic books all preserved and stored in plastic bags. Most are from the bronze age and silver age.

Ah but alas I feel it is time to part with them. Therefore I will be selling my entire collection
on ebay. I posted the first one just recently. Tales to Astonish #69. What a great book to add to your collection. The others will follow shortly. Is one of your goals for 2007 to stock up on comics for your collection? If so let me know.

Which one is next? Maybe I will sell my Number one Silver Surfer. Hmmm?
